This year, the circle widens.
Circles of Joy is an evening on the property where Joy Meadows' work happens: real stories from children and families impacted by foster care, a look at what's ahead, and a chance to be part of the circle that makes it possible.
The Details
-
Joy Meadows is all about relationship because that’s where the healing happens. After our first few years of fundraising and hosting galas, we discovered that people want to be part of the story - they want to experience the relationships and unique purpose of Joy Meadows firsthand. In order to stay true to our purpose and vision, we no longer sell tickets or fundraise at fancy galas. Instead, we a host a vision dinner each year to invite people to hear the stories firsthand. The dinner includes our long-time donors so they can see their impact; partners in program impact; as well as those who have never yet experienced Joy Meadows but whom we want to invite into the story so they can experience what we do to bring stability, healing, and joy.
-
Business casual attire. The evening takes place at our outdoor covered pavilion, and includes some walking on the beautiful Joy Meadows campus.
-
Non-alcoholic beverages and appetizers will be available as we experience the property and programs, and a catered meal will be provided for dinner. Gluten-free options will be available as part of the menu for the evening.
-
The format is a little bit different each year as we grow, but you can expect to hear stories about real lives being impacted, see the aspects of the Joy Meadows property, and hear from those who serve all while enjoying the beautiful Joy Meadows campus and a delicious dinner with others who have a shared heart for understanding the impact of foster care and adoption.
