Joy Meadows creates
foster care communities
of skilled families in
single-family foster homes,
creating space for more
children to thrive in stable
family environments.
The Joy Meadows Housing Program involves the development, construction, and maintenance of neighborhoods of foster homes suitable for single families housing a large number of children.
Foster Homes are provided to skilled, high-capacity foster families, emphasizing placing siblings together.
An on-site Community Center accommodates therapy, tutoring, emotional and behavioral support, and extra-curricular activities—all within walking distance of the foster homes.
Various Therapy professionals office on-location, cutting down on one more visit and drive for the foster families, case workers, and therapists.
Children see other kids and families that look like them. Foster parents have other neighbors and friends who can identify with the issues unique to fostering.
The surrounding community has a centralized location where they can support the children and foster families by donating time, services, and supplies.
