Resource Program Manager Job Description

Position Summary

The Resource Program Manager is responsible for the planning and day-to-day administration and

delivery of the Joy Meadows’ Resource Programs at the Linwood campus. The Program Manager reports

directly to the Linwood Campus Director. The Program Manager will be solely responsible to oversee

employees, volunteers, and groups related to programs, as well as manage the budget, and ensure

effective delivery of the programs to the children and families being served. This high-energy position

will require the ability to plan and execute events as well as collaborate with Joy Meadows’ leadership

staff. Responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Linwood Resource Programs, including Summer Camp, Clothing Closet, Second Saturday, Therapy Center, and special events.

  • Plan and execute summer day camps with age-appropriate and trauma-informed activities.

    Including registration, communications, activities, and managing seasonal staff and volunteers.

  • Plan and execute the Second Saturday events, work with sponsoring churches, volunteers.

  • Oversee the Therapy Center to coordinate with therapists, clinics, mentors.

  • Manage Clothing Closet donations and distribution.

  • Manage the budget for all designated Linwood Resource Programs.

  • Ensure safe practices and a healthy environment for all children and families.

  • Meet and achieve the goals, objectives and outcomes for the designated programs.

  • Provide excellent communication with families served, including activities, emails, newsletters,

    and marketing materials related to programs.

  • Manage the database of constituents.

  • Ensure foster and adoptive families are served with excellence and care in line with the mission.

Qualifications:

  • Experience developing events in preparation, management, and execution.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.

  • High sense of responsibility to see projects and programs through to completion.

  • Understanding of trauma and work from a trauma-informed perspective.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Work as a team with all Joy Meadows leadership and staff to ensure the mission of Joy Meadows

    is accomplished, children are loved, and caregivers are supported.

  • Leadership in relational connection to constituents, staff, volunteers, and the public.

  • Ability to work outside during seasonal activities and engage in active events.

  • Work from a Biblical perspective both in principles in problem-solving, management, and servant

    leadership

  • Passionate about serving children and families in a holistic model with a belief in restoration.

Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree preferred in business, recreational activities, education, ministry, psychology,

    social services, hospitality, or a related field.

  • Experience with foster care or foster care ministries and child welfare system.

  • 3-5 years of experience in management for social services, ministry, or foster care-related field preferred.

  • Knowledge of Joy Meadows’ mission and operations, experience as a volunteer.

  • Agreement with the Joy Meadows Statement of Faith and clear background check.

  • Trauma-training and first-aid certification (Joy Meadows can assist with this if needed).

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with on-campus presence required for eighty-percent (80%) of weekly hours.

Compensation offer will be based upon skills, education, and experience. Full-time employment benefits

will also include health insurance benefit for employee, retirement contribution matching, paid vacation

time and sick time days off. Specific details of compensation will be outlined in an offer letter of

employment and commensurate with experience.

    and you clothes me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to

    visit me.

  7. We believe everyone counts.
