About Kelley Denham
Kelley has a passion to see youth of all ages grow and succeed in all areas of life and considers it a privilege to join families as they navigate various life challenges. She believes there is purpose in everything experienced in life and works with children to identify and build on their God-given strengths to overcome a variety of difficulties.
Recognizing that children communicate most naturally through play, Kelley utilizes playful curiosity to create a safe place where children can communicate openly and naturally while building a trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients.
Kelley earned her Master of Social Work from Campbellsville University in 2019 and has a strong background working with children and families in a variety of settings. Her experience includes working in daycare environments, leading and directing children’s ministries in the church, teaching at a K–12 private school, training and supporting foster families, and serving most recently as a children’s clinician in a community mental health setting.
Therapeutic Approach
In session, Kelley utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each child’s needs, including:
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
Solution-Focused strategies
Motivational Interviewing
Dialectical Behavioral strategies
Her approach emphasizes safety, trust, and connection, allowing children and families to experience healing in a supportive and strengths-based environment.
Therapy Providers at Joy Meadows
William Eickman uses the Joy Meadows Foster Care Therapy Center as a secondary office location. Multiple independent therapy providers operate from the center, allowing families to access specialized care in one place and enabling collaboration when a whole-child approach is needed.
Appointments, treatment plans, and billing are managed directly with each provider.
Therapy Mentors at Joy Meadows
Volunteer Therapy Mentors support families by caring for children during sessions, allowing caregivers to participate fully in therapy without added stress.
