About Casey Hatfield

Casey is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with experience working with children of all ages. She specializes in the treatment of speech sound disorders, literacy, orofacial myofunctional disorders, augmentative and alternative communication and speech-generating devices, language delays, and social communication skills.

In her experience, regulation of the nervous system is the first step to communication. Because of this, Casey values collaborating with occupational therapists to treat children from a whole-body perspective.

Therapeutic Philosophy

Casey approaches therapy with a strong belief that communication is deeply connected to regulation and sensory processing. By prioritizing nervous system regulation and interdisciplinary collaboration, she supports children in building foundational skills that allow communication to grow naturally and effectively.

Therapy Providers at Joy Meadows

Each therapy provider uses the Joy Meadows Foster Care Therapy Center as a secondary office location. Multiple independent therapy providers operate from the center, allowing families to access specialized care in one place and enabling collaboration when a whole-child approach is needed.

Appointments, treatment plans, and billing are managed directly with each provider.

Therapy Mentors at Joy Meadows

Volunteer Therapy Mentors ease this burden by being present each week and playing with children while one is in a session. This allows parents to participate in therapy sessions stress-free.
