About Cara Brockmeyer

Cara has recently joined the Pediatric Connections team and enjoys working with children of all ages. She has previous experience in both acute care and pediatrics. She is passionate about helping children and parents learn strategies to regulate their nervous system for meaningful participation in everyday activities.

She specializes in MNRI techniques, including dynamic and postural integration and neurotactile integration, while implementing a trauma-informed care approach. Through her experience and training, Cara has learned that a sense of safety within the nervous system is foundational for helping clients learn new skills and reach their potential. Creating an environment of structured fun and play is a great way to develop children's skills.

Outside of work, Cara enjoys spending time outdoors, connecting with friends and family, and helping others learn more about their savior, Jesus, through church and small group involvement.
