Guidelines for Eligibility

The following guidelines are in place so we can make the Clothing Closet resources available to foster children when needed:

• Please provide the name of the caregiver responsible for the child.

• Please provide us with the age and gender of the child receiving the items.

• Foster parents may visit the clothing closet once a month for each foster child or at any time upon receiving a new placement.

• One package of new socks and underwear may be given to each child quarterly (approx. every three months).

• Biological families reintegrating or who have reintegrated should provide a foster parent placement name or case worker contact. Clothing Closet resources will be available to biological families during after-care with their agency or up to 1 year after reintegration.
