The Essentials Drive

Those impacted by foster care often receive the leftovers, the least, and the worn. Your help with brand new essential items makes sure we can give them the very best. Over 900 children were served last year.

Here is how you can help shop for the Essentials to stock our Clothing Closet.

1. With your team, organization or volunteers, collect donations of new items to stock the shelves at the Clothing Closet. This can be done at an event or an ongoing basis that works for your team.  Most needed items include:
   • Underwear (toddler through adult)

   • Socks (toddler through adult)

   • Pajamas (toddler through adult)

   • Diapers - all sizes

   • Baby Wipes

   • New t-shirts, pants, shorts (elementary through teen)

2. You may also choose to go to our Amazon Wish List and have items shipped directly to Joy Meadows.

3. Schedule a time for in-person drop off of the items.

Thank you for playing a vital part in helping Joy Meadows support children in foster care, foster parents, kinship parents, and biological caregivers reintegrating with their children!
