Joy Meadows is excited to host Hair Talk Academy, a practical class designed to help caregivers and youth understand the importance of proper hair care.

Hair care can deeply influence a child’s sense of worth, self-esteem, and cultural identity. Join us to discover techniques for nurturing all types of textured hair.

This free class will include:

• Understanding hair textures

• Essential tools and products

• Creating a basic hair care routine

• Effective detangling methods

• Empowering hair vocabulary

• Building connection and confidence through care

Who should come? This session is perfect for parents and caregivers who want to confidently care for the hair of the children in their homes, as well as for older youth who are learning to manage their own hair with independence and pride.
